William Shafarman will be promoted to honorary doctor on January 31st and will talk about material science and solar cell research at the Institute of Energy Conversion.
William Shafarman is at the University of Delaware and at the Institute of Energy conversion, USA. During the years he has been involved in collaborations in different ways with researchers at Uppsala University. The research performed by professor Shafarman involved material, processing and characterization of compound semiconductors for use in thin film solar cells and related Opto-electronic applications.
