Welcome to the inauguration of the Uppsala node within WISE Additive
We are pleased to invite you to the inauguration of the Uppsala node within WISE Additive, established with support from the WISE Research Technology Platform programme.
This new node marks an important step in developing a national research infrastructure for additive manufacturing – a field with great significance for future materials development and sustainable production.
In Uppsala, the new equipment will be integrated with the AM Lab at the Ångström Laboratory, providing extended capabilities in areas such as advanced analysis, characterization, and powder production.
During the inauguration, you are invited to enjoy presentations of ongoing research, introductions to the equipment by the suppliers, and a guided tour of the laboratory facilities.
Together with Chalmers University of Technology and Linköping University, we are building a strong national platform for additive manufacturing – bringing together new technology, scientific excellence, and industrial applications.
