The Uppsala MedTech Science and Innovation Centre (MTSI) invites you to our annual MTSI Day 2026 on Wednesday, April 22 at the University Main Building in Uppsala. The theme for this year's conference is ""The shift towards a more preventive healthcare system – from healthcare needs to research and innovation in early diagnostics and Medtech."
MTSI Day 2026 brings together academic researchers, healthcare professionals, industry, entrepreneurs, public stakeholders and innovation support actors for a full day of inspiration, dialogue and collaboration. The focus is on prevention and early diagnostics, exploring how healthcare needs can drive new transdisciplinary research, innovation and solutions within medical technologies.
Through inspirational talks, research pitches, interactive workshops and networking, the day aims to identify shared challenges, new collaborations and support innovation that contributes to a more preventive, efficient and sustainable healthcare system.
Target audience: Academic researchers, healthcare professionals, industry and Medtech companies, entrepreneurs, innovation support organisations, public sector actors and funding agencies.
