We are very happy for Prof. Cecilia Persson and Assist. Prof. Morteza Aramesh who have acquired VINNOVA Emerging Technology Solutions grants! Two exciting projects are now going to be performed : Biodegradable cages for the degenerated disc - will be investigated by Prof. Cecilia Persson in cooperation with Salim Ghandour, Materials Science and Engineering Department, Uppsala University, Assoc. Prof. Rob Hewson, Imperial College London, UK and Dr. Malin Nilsson, Inossia ,Sweden. CAR-T cells engineering through mechanical activation for immunotherapy applications - will be developed by Assist. Prof. Morteza Aramesh who is going to work in collaboration with Dr. Di Yu at the Department of Immunology, Genetics and Pathology, Uppsala University and Prof. Cecilia Persson, Materials Science and Engineering Department, Uppsala University.
