Anton Erik Isidor von Nandelstadh presents a selected topics course. Welcome!
Short presentation of the subject: Elementary proofs of the Strong Law of Large Numbers (SLLN) often rely on unnecessarily strong assumptions or arguments that are technically demanding and unintuitive. This presentation develops parts of the elementary theory of martingales and the theory of uniform integrability, which together allow for a short and intuitive martingale proof of the SLLN.
Advanced courses at bachelor's level are reading courses that conclude with the opportunity to present the advanced work.
