Abstract: I present a construction that attaches a fan (of convex cones) to an abelian category. For the module category of a finite dimensional algebra, the heart fan is always complete and contains the g-fan as a subfan. Our construction is motivated by stability theory and the fans of the bounded hearts in a triangulated category glue to a multifan. There will be many pictures.
