Zbigniew Wojciechowski (Dresden) gives a seminar with the title "Nil Hecke Algebras from an algebroidists point of view". Welcome!
Abstract: Bialgebroids/Hopf Algebroids, which were introduced by Sweedler, are a possible framework to work with bialgebra/Hopf algebra-like structures over a non-central commutative subalgebra. I will first give an introduction to bialgebroids/Hopf algebroids driven by representation-theoretic examples (semisimple algebras, path algebras, Weyl algebras) and show how these concepts apply to nil Hecke algebras associated to any Coxeter system. This perspective leads to Leibniz versions of Coxeter braid relations between Demazure operators and simple reflections, of which I wasn't aware before..
