Algebra Seminar: Whittaker modules and finite W-superalgebras for the queer Lie superalgebra

Abstract: We discuss the connections between Whittaker modules and representations of the finite W-superalgebra U(q(n), E) of the queer Lie superalgebra q(n), associated with an odd nilpotent element E in q(n). In particular, we establish an analogue of the Losev-Shu-Xiao decomposition for U(q(n), E) and demonstrate several equivalences between the category of Whittaker q(n)-modules and various analogues of the BGG category for U(q(n), E).
