Théotime Girardot (GSSI Italy) holds a seminar with the title "The thermodynamic limit of the free energy of dilute Bose gases at low temperatures interacting via strong potentials"

Abstract: We derive a lower bound for the free energy of a dilute Bose gas interacting via strong (hard-core) potentials for small temperatures up to the Lee-Huang-Yang precision in the thermodynamic limit.

This lower bound displays the thermal cloud energy in which clearly appears the effect of the excitation spectrum of the gas. The proof is based on a new Neumann localization method that allows to carry out the analysis to a box slightly larger than in a Gross-Pitaevskii regime using extensively the properties of Neumann eigenfunctions.
