DSNT Seminar: Some remarks on the spectrum of quasi-periodic Schrödinger operators.

Abstract: The discrete one-dimensional Schrödinger operator with a quasi-periodic potential has been extensively investigated in the literature. Dynamical methods have shown powerful to analyze the associated Schrödinger equation. In this talk we will show how such type of methods can be used to obtain certain (asymptotic) estimates of the Lebesgue measure of (parts) of the spectrum of the operator.
