Medicine and pharmacy
Professor Linus Sandegren at the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Microbiology has been awarded the 2024 Distinguished Teaching Award in the domain of Medicine and Pharmacy.
Linus Sandegren is a skilful teacher with infectious enthusiasm. Regardless of whether the students are in the biomedicine, medicine or pharmacy programme, he awakens their passion for bacteriology. The appreciation that students feel for his dedication to their learning is reflected in the many teaching awards he has received over the years. Linus contributes actively in clear-sighted and structured ways to course and programme development, to the benefit of students and fellow teachers. In addition, his lectures on antibiotics issues at upper secondary schools and other institutions open the eyes of the wider community to the importance of this topic.
