Minforskning.se

We have invented new digital methods to make large-scale clinical research more cost-effective. We will evaluate and refine these methods in three projects currently underway. One of the studies is an innovative home-based screening study to find patients with undiagnosed heart failure.

Project description

We are working to develop new methods for cost-effective clinical research. We have developed a new system for electronically obtaining informed consent, for use in clinical research and care, minforskning.se. The signing of a consent form is a very important step in research studies. Today, this is usually done by signing with a pen on paper, but with a digital process, patients can be included in studies via video, which is a big step forward in enabling more cost-effective, accessible and equitable research studies.

We have also developed a system for self-directed digital symptom registrations (Symptoms; symptoms.se), and are now investigating the clinical and research benefits of that system.
