The Faculty of Pharmacy welcomes you to meet our new honorary doctor Peter Langguth, Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmaceutics at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, as he presents his Honorary Doctorate Lecture Lipoplexes and solid lipid nanoparticles for the delivery of RNA.

“It is with pride and gratitude that I accept the appointment as Honorary Doctor of Pharmacy at Uppsala’s Faculty of Pharmacy. It is a tradition and an institution whose good reputation I am well acquainted with, and I am very much looking forward to experience the conferment ceremony together with the distinguished awardees of this honor,” stated Peter Langguth when appointed.
Thursday 29 January, you have the opportunity to meet Peter Langguth at the Honorary Doctorate Lecture Lipoplexes and solid lipid nanoparticles for delivery of RNA. The presentation highlights Professor Langguth's many contributions to the pharmaceutical sciences, not least for the development of mRNA-based vaccines against COVID-19.
