Inspiration series Profiler i branschen is back and starting off 2024 by welcoming this year's first guest Pia Steensland, Director, Policy & Public Affairs at Pfizer Sweden. Before being recruited to Pfizer, Pia represented the Christian Democrats in Sweden's Riksdag and the Committee on Health and Welfare.

Pia Steensland is a trained pharmacist at Uppsala University's Faculty of Pharmacy. In 2002, Pia defended her thesis Anabolic Androgenic Steroids and the Brain at the Department of Pharmaceutical Biosciences. She continued her scientific career at Karolinska Institutet with a focus on the development of drugs to treat of alcohol addiction.

You are welcome to participate at City Life, Sveavägen 63, Stockholm where Pia Steensland will lecture and the Alumni Association Farmis offers snacks and drinks (mandatory pre-registration here). The doors open at 17.15, event ends at 19.00.

We also meet at Pharmen, Dag Hammarskjölds Väg 16, where we will see Pia Steensland's lecture on the big screen. Food and drinks are served at cost price in the pub starting at 17.00.
