From the Faculty of Pharmacy: A very Merry Christmas & Happy New 2025
Once again the snow is falling outside the BMC windows and it is time to make our traditional summation of the academic year. We know that previous looks in the rearview mirror may have caused one or even a few "best ever", but there is no denial that our Faculty of Pharmacy's 2024 is something we will carry with us for a long time.
It is impossible to pick among all the many cherries, but we would still like to mention Practicum, our new training premises that is everything we ever wished for, that our relatively small faculty for the second year in a row welcomes three new professors: Thomas Dorlo, Olof Eriksson & Elisabet Nielsen, and, of course, SweDeliver which after impressive progress is granted continued funding for another five years. Thank you Christel Bergström, Alexandra Teleki and everyone else contributing to this important work.
Turning towards 2025, we look forward to greet our new honorary doctors Dag Larsson and Lynne Taylor, the premiere of our course Advanced Medication Communication, which is already attracting national interest and not least the exciting development of our investment in better use of drugs. but more about this in the near future, because the moment has come:
