See Almedal seminar: Alcohol farm sale and monopoly • A possibility?

At Almedalen Week 2024, U-FOLD and SLAN highlighted Farm sales of alcohol: A much-needed way to benefit tourism and create jobs – or a legal impossibility if Sweden is to maintain its current retail monopoly? Now you can see the seminar online.

According to advocates, farm sales of alcohol in Sweden would benefit the visitor industry, tourism and create more jobs in the countryside. Are they right or wrong? And if legalized, what would the price be for our country to introduce farm sales?

At this Almedalen week seminar in 25 June 2024, U-FOLD and SLAN gathered a selection of our nation's leading experts to discuss farm sales from the perspective of the tourism industry, what it could mean for public health and whether it is even possible to combine farm sales with a retained Swedish retail monopoly on alcohol. Now you can see the seminar online (please note: Seminar in Swedish)
