From the Faculty of Pharmacy to all of you: Have a wonderful summer

Summer has arrived to BMC and it is time to sum up our Faculty of Pharmacy’s Academic year 2023/24. A pleasant task as a look in the rearview mirror offers more spectacular views than we can do justice in a few sentences. Turning to the crystal ball, we face no less inspiring horizons, writes Dean Mathias Hallberg and Deputy Dean Anja Sandström.
June is here, and with sun-drenched happy students all over the BMC lawns, we would like to take this moment to sum up our fourth year as Dean and Deputy Dean at the Faculty of Pharmacy. Even though it is impossible to single out one or even a few among the many accomplishments of our remarkable researchers, teachers and students, we would like to mention that our gathering of regulatory forces has left the starting blocks, the highly publicized breakthrough in the fight against antibiotic-resistant bacteria and of course the much anticipated news that SweDeliver will continue until 2029. Outstanding job everyone!
We also look forward to this year's Almedalen Week, where our faculty will be at the center of several important arenas. We hope to welcome as many of you as possible at our seminar with a focus on the future of Prescriptionist education and of course U-FOLD's six seminars highlighting, among other things, Sweden's future drug policy, Organized crime and, not least, the highly topical Farm sale of alcohol.
We'll settle there. It is time to let you, Dear colleagues, alumni and friends, get ready for a well-deserved holiday. We wish you all a fantastic summer. We will meet again in September!
