The Uppsala science festival SciFest returns to Fyrishov. 10–12 March 2022, researchers from Uppsala University and thousands of curious schoolchildren and adults will meet for a variety of activities, shows and lectures. As a researcher at the Faculty of Pharmacy, you can now register your participation.

Preparations for SciFest 2022 has started. Uppsala's largest science festival, each year attracting almost 8,000 curious schoolchildren and adults, will finally return to Fyrishov after two years online.
“SciFest is an extremely inspiring opportunity to meet and interact with the curious of all ages. It also provides us as a group the opportunity to sophisticate how we present and make our work available in a larger societal perspective. Our experience is that the simple presentations and projects work best at SciFest,” says Christel Bergström, professor at the Department of Pharmacy.
(Image removed) SciFest 2022 will offer a diversity of fun and interesting activities aiming to show how fun science can be. The festival is adapted to the national school curriculum and SciFest's primary task is to arouse students' curiosity about science and research - and hopefully plant an interest to one day study at Uppsala University.
“As researchers, we share the responsibility to create understanding and commitment to a knowledge-driven society, and SciFest gives us an arena to meet the school students who make up tomorrow's researchers. SciFest is simply an arena with great added value for both exhibitors and visitors,” says Christel Bergström, who is also Deputy Dean for Collaboration within the disciplinary domain of medicine and pharmacy.
FACTS SCIFEST 2022
- SciFest 2022 takes place March 10-12 in Fyrishov, Uppsala.
- 9 and 16 November 2021, workshops will be arranged for you who want to know more about participating in Scifest.
- Register your activity in SciFest's booking system no later than 1 December 2021.
