Agnes Morén and Samia Mohammed receive awards for Degree projects
The Faculty of Pharmacy congratulates students Samia Mohammed to Sveriges Apoteksförening's Award and Agnes Morén to Medical officer of health Per Manell’s Prize that were presented at the Faculty Student Symposium 13 January 2023.

At the Faculty of Pharmacy's traditional Student Symposium, students from Uppsala University's Master and Bachelor of Science Programmes in Pharmacy present their scientific Degree projects. During the symposium, Sveriges Apoteksförening award their prize for best presentation of a degree project at undergraduate level. This year's award was presented to Samia Mohammed, student at the Bachelor of Science Programme in Pharmacy, for her project Synthesis of a linker through reductive amination for optimised detection of prostate cancer.
Also at the symposium, the Medical officer of health Per Manell’s Prize is awarded for the best presentation of a Degree project at advanced level. This year's prize was awarded to Agnes Morén, student at the Master of Science Programme in Pharmacy, for her presentation of project Identification and Structural Elucidation of Cannabinoid Metabolites in Horse Urine Using UHPLC-HRMS. Per Manell’s Prize includes a study trip to Brussels and the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations industry organisation.
