DPCR congratulates new doctor in peace research

On 15 January, Sebastian van Baalen successfully defended his dissertation Guns and Governance: Local Elites and Rebel Governance in Côte d'Ivoire. Faculty opponent at the defense was Professor Scott Straus, Department of Political Science, University of Wisconsin-Madison. Associate Professor Desirée Nilsson chaired the event.
