New Professor Hanne Fjelde
On Wednesday 16 November Hanne Fjelde held her professor installation lecture on political violence and support for autocratic leaders. It is our pleasure to congratulate Hanne Fjelde as a new Professor at Uppsala University.
Fjeldes research deals with questions in the intersection between political institutions and political violence, such as the causes and consequences of electoral violence on citizens political attitudes and behavior and how contentious politics influence transitions to and away from democracy.
