Desirée Nilsson promoted to Professor in Peace and Conflict Research

Desirée Nilsson has been promoted to the position of Professor in Peace and Conflict Research! We congratulate Desirée on this well-earned achievement!

Desirée’s research focuses on the dynamics and resolution of civil wars, including topics such as rebel fragmentation, inclusive peace processes, peacekeeping operations, and Islamist civil wars. She currently leads a research project on the role of civil society organizations in peace processes.
