Taeda Tomic: Book Presentation

Taeda Tomic, Uppsala University, gives a presentation based on her newly published book Kritiskt tänkande och logisk argumentationsanalys.

Abstract
My book Kritiskt tänkande och logisk argumentationsanalys (Critical Thinking and Logical Argumentation Analysis) has been published in January 2023. At the seminar, I would like to present some of the book's most interesting dimensions, as well as the aspects that make the book specific in comparison with other books in similar areas. It will be about critical thinking as academic subject, about some concrete and for the subject specific methods for developing critical thinking skills, and about critical thinking as a virtue. If we'll have time, we'll be able to engage in an analysis-example from the book, that illustrates all the three topics mentioned above. No preparation or reading ahead of the seminar is needed.
