Abstract
This paper argues that verdictive aesthetic beliefs are formed and maintained amidst weak evidence. By acknowledging this, we will be required to reject two increasingly common claims about the epistemic and aesthetic status of deferential forms of reliance on the aesthetic judgements of others.
