The Distinguished Teaching Award of 2012

Staffan Andersson, Lecturer, was awarded the Distinguished Teaching Award of 2012 within the field mathematics, science and technology.

Staffan Andersson's inspired and solid leadership promotes pedagogical developments on both department and faculty level. In his work he involves both colleagues and students and his results are actively spread both locally within the university and nationally at college educational conferences. Staffan takes in his role as program manager responsibility for that all students will feel welcome and seen in his role at the university, something that according to his own didactic research has a great significance for retention. Staffan's own education rests on a scientific foundation and his engagement and innovation both inside and outside the classroom is contagious to the students!
