Uppsala University honorary doctor to Margaret Murnane from Boulder Colorado

Professor Margaret M. Murnane, from University of  Colorado in Boulder (USA), was named an honorary doctor at the Faculty of Science and Technology. She is world-leading expert in ultrafast quantum optics and is well known for her work in high-harmonics generation of laser light, ranging from extreme ultraviolet to soft X-ray region. The ceremony will take place in January 2016.
