Erik Zackrisson Accepted as a Distinguished University Teacher
Erik Zackrisson was accepted as a distinguished university teacher on December 11, 2019. A distinguished university teacher is a teacher who has attained a higher level of teaching expertise.
“Of course, it is very fun to have your pedagogical competence confirmed in this way. In my case it is largely the faculty’s TUFF-fund for pedagogical development which made it possible for me to merit me enough to be accepted as a distinguished university teacher. I myself have led several TUFF-projects in recent years to renew the teaching of astronomy with the help of, among other things, virtual reality and game-based learning. The TUFF-grants are a fantastic resource to have more time to test new teaching ideas – a resource too few take advantage of”, says Erik Zackrisson.
