Exhibition Time Observatory

On June 26, 2020 the exhibition Alvaro Campo – Time Observatory (Part 1), The measure of change, was opened on Uppsala Art Museum, which is about clock time, sun time and change.

The exhibition, which has been created by Alvaro Campo, has emerged from conversations with, among others, Eric Stempels, Astronomy and Space Physics, and other researchers in philosophy, biology and climate change, about what time is and how we might understand ourselves based on the processes of nature.

In the film, Eric Stempels tells in the Old Observatory in Uppsala about the astronomer’s perspective on the concept of time and about how central time is and that the movements of the light waves becomes a measurement instrument to understand the long physical processes of the universe.
