This year, the particle physics laboratory CERN in Geneva celebrates 70 years. During the lecture, Axel Gallén, PhD student in experimental particle physics, will talk about innovations and experiments in particle physics. Docent Harri Waltari, postdoc in theoretical particle physics at Uppsala University, will talk about open questions in particle physics and the need for future experiments in order to be able to answer them.
