Giulia Ripellino Awarded the Oseen Medal 2023
Giulia Ripellino, Postdoc at the Division of High Energy Physics at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, was on 15 June 15 awarded the Oseen Medal 2023 from Svenska Fysikersamfundet.

Giulia Ripellino was awarded the Oseen Medal at a ceremony during Fysikdagarna on June 16 in Stockholm when she also gave a presentation. She is awarded the medal for her doctoral thesis which she made at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Haystacks and Needles – Measuring the number of proton collisions in ATLAS and probing them for the production of new exotic particles, for her work at CERN with studies beyond the standard model.
Giulia was also awarded the ATLAS Thesis Award this February.
