Neutron scattering methods provide unique opportunities for research in material science, as the neutron can penetrate deep into matter and is specifically sensitive to light elements, low energy excitations and magnetic moments.
The national research infrastructure Super-ADAM operating the neutron reflectometer with the same name at the Institute Laue-Langevin in Grenoble has been renewed for another four years. In connection with the extension we will have a workshop to present the project and the activities on the instrument. Super-ADAM is a polarised neutron reflectometer optimised for surface and interface science, targeting research in sustainability, soft matter and life science as well as quantum materials.
