Pitch-your-VR-idea: Homodyne detection of quantum correlations in magnonics

Quantum magnonics is just getting started and lies in the overlap between magnon spintronics and quantum information science. Despite recent widespread attention and extensive research efforts in this area, developments are at an early stage and mostly at theoretical levels. However, the groundbreaking demonstration of a single magnon state promises a very bright future for quantum magnonics. To facilitate advances experimental characterization of quantum properties and particularly quantum correlations in magnonics systems are indispensable. Based on our recent experience in studying quantum correlations among magnons, we aim to develop a homodyne detection setup for experimental characterization of quantum correlations in magnonics.
