Seminar: Atomistic Spin Dynamics - from fast and hot to slow and cool

In this talk, I will provide an overview of atomistic spin dynamics simulations, with examples from recent studies. I will particularly emphasize the connection between simulations and experimental observations of dynamic phenomena across various timescales. These range from ultrafast processes, such as demagnetization in transition metal systems, to much slower dynamics, like the spin-glass-like behavior in dhcp Nd.
