Oscar Grånäs Awarded the Lindbomska belöningen
Oscar Grånäs, Materials Theory, has been awarded the Lindbomska belöningen by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.

He was awarded the Lindbomska belöningen at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences’ regular meeting on January 15, 2020.
Oscar Grånäs was awarded the Lindbomska belöningen 2020 of 10 000 SEK ”for contributions within electron structure theory, correlating electron systems and electron dynamics in physical, chemical and biological systems”.
“Of course, it is great fun to get recognition from the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. Foremost it feels good that they award work with basic method development. In my case it is about development of methods with a wide field of application, and according to the motivation it may be used to describe dynamical processes in solid materials as well as small biological systems”, says Oscar Grånäs.
