The rare flavour changing neutral current transition b→sℓ+ℓ−bsℓ+ℓ− constitute sensitive probes for New Physics (NP), as they are forbidden at tree-level in the SM and only occur at loop order. Virtual NP contributions can therefore have a large impact, resulting in significant deviations in the measured observables from their Standard Model (SM) predictions. In recent years, measurements of rare decays by the LHCb collaboration have shown interesting tensions with the SM predictions, the status of which, along with how the experimental data can help us learn more about the theoretical uncertainties, will be presented.
