Book by Patrik Juslin awarded "2019 Choice Outstanding Academic Title"

Patrik Juslin’s book Musical Emotions Explained has been awarded the “2019 Outstanding Academic Title” by Choice, a publishing unit of the Association of College and Research Libraries. This is considered the premier source for reviews of academic books of interest to those in higher education. Every year, Choice chooses a selection of the books from the roughly 6.000 books reviewed annually. In awarding the titles, the editors apply criteria such as overall excellence in presentation and scholarship, importance relative to other literature in the field, originality or uniqueness of treatment, and value to undergraduate students. Selections are determined by scholars who act as experts in their respective fields.
