Christina Harney, University of Leeds (UK): "Developing a music listening intervention for anxiety"
Abstract
Focused music listening is a promising tool to address anxiety and involves listening to recorded or live music. There is a need to understand specifically the relationship between music listening and naturally occurring, state anxiety. This talk will cover the findings of a systematic review and meta-analysis of the literature and results from an online study involving group music listening to target postgraduate student anxiety.
