Prize for best thesis on Parkinson’s disease awarded to Hanna Steurer of the Speech Pathology research group

Hanna Steurer is a researcher at Karolinska Institutet and a member of the Speech Pathology research group at the Department of Public Health and Caring Sciences at Uppsala University. She has been awarded the Elsa and Inge Andersson Prize for the best thesis on Parkinson’s disease.

Hanna's research focuses on enhancing communication opportunities for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease. She has also shared her expertise with speech and language pathology students at Karolinska Institutet and Uppsala University through her involvement in the education.
