Cancer rehabilitation project receives funding

The project Cancerrehabilitering NU at Akademiska sjukhuset has been granted SEK 1,143,880. The project aims to improve care by developing routines to establish rehabilitation plans for patients starting treatment for breast or prostate cancer. The project will also implement a program with extended support regarding nutrition and physical activity aimed at patients undergoing stem cell transplantation. Project manager is Lena Wettergren and co-applicants are Sölvi Vejby and Malin Thieme Andersson.
