Swedish Breast Cancer Association awards funding to nursing research

The research group Caring sciences is pleased to announce funding for two research projects!

Cecilia Arving’s project, which explores the barriers and opportunities for women with intellectual disabilities to participate in mammography screening, has been awarded SEK 600,000.

Lena Wettergren’s project Fex-Can 2.0, which evaluates a treatment program aimed at reducing fertility-related distress and sexual problems among individuals diagnosed with cancer in young adulthood (ages 18–39), has received SEK 500,000.
