Abstract: This study provides a modest investigation into the relationship between local culture and entrepreneurial behavior in Uzbekistan. It contemplates how facets such as traditional values, social norms, and local traditions may mold entrepreneurial ventures, while also considering the transformation in these activities due to economic reforms. It represents an effort to decipher the subtleties of entrepreneurial trends in Uzbekistan and its wider regional context, while acknowledging the impact of cultural factors in defining these dynamics.
Bio: Mohichehra Kurbonbekova is an academic and educator based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. She serves as a leading specialist at the Department of Commercialization of Scientific and Innovative Developments and a senior lecturer in the Department of Banking at Tashkent State University of Economics. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the same institution, with her research focusing on the regulation of money supply in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Her works have been recognized at a number of conferences and she has several publications to her credit, highlighting her dedication to understanding and improving economic practices in Uzbekistan.
