Journal of Baltic Studies (JBS), the official journal of the Association for the Advancement of Baltic Studies (AABS), is a vital source of scholarship for those engaged in Baltic state and Baltic Sea region studies. As of April 1, 2017 the editorial office of JBS is located at the Institute of Russian and Eurasian Studies. The JBS editorial team at the Institute for Russian and Eurasian Studies is very pleased to have with us Laura Giorio as an intern for the whole autumn semester. Laura is a second-year master’s student in the international Euroculture program at Uppsala University. She is particularly interested in news discourses in Russia and the European Union. Her background in linguistics and translation is of great help when language editing and proofreading manuscripts for JBS.
JBS is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal published on a quarterly basis that aims at progressing and disseminating knowledge about the political, social, economic, and cultural life – both past and present – of the Baltic states and the Baltic Sea region. JBS seeks high-quality original articles and review of broad scholarly interest that advance knowledge of the Baltic states and Baltic Sea region.
