Elena Namli awarded Martin Henriksson Holmdahl Scholarship
Our collegues Elena Namli, Professor in Theological Ethics, is one of this year’s recipients of Martin Henriksson Holmdalh Scholarship. The scholarship, Uppsala University’s primary award for the promotion of human rights and liberty, is awarded to an employee of the University, a group of such employees, a student, or a group of students who have worked to promote human rights and liberty.
The motivation mentions Professor Namli’s central role in creating and developing Master's programs in human rights, as well as her contribution to a nuanced understanding of the role of human rights in ethics and politics. The prize will awarded at the winter promotion in January.
