UPTAKE project receives excellent reviews in the final EU report

(Image removed) UPTAKE, a 3-year European Union’s Horizon 2020 funded project aiming at building research excellence in Russian and East European Studies at the Universities of Tartu, Uppsala and Kent has come to an end. In the final report by the Research Executive Agency at the European Commission the project has received outstanding critique. According to the report the project has fully achieved its objectives and milestones for the period and delivered exceptional results with significant immediate or potential impact. The overall results of the project are excellent. In particular, the annual Tartu conference that has largely contributed to increase the awareness for the issue addressed. The project also attracted much more participants than expected in the first place, which is indicative for its successful implementation.
