In Memoriam: Philippa Hetherington

We have been reached by the sad news that Dr. Philippa Hetherington has passed away after a long battle with cancer. Philippa was awarded a Visiting Fellowship at IRES 2019, but could not come due to her illness. She was one of her generation's most promising researchers of imperial Russia and the early Soviet Union. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy is with her family and friends today. Rest in peace dear Philippa. Forever remembered, forever missed.
