GAINS UKRAINE aims to evaluate a digital intervention for reducing intrusive memories after traumatic events. It is an imagery-competing task intervention – ICTI. Intrusive memories are a common symptom after psychological trauma. They are brief, typically visual, sensory fragments, which replay the trauma repeatedly in the mind's eye and cause distress.

The study plans to conduct interviews to highlight the voice of lived experience.

Ethical Approval (LTCPSV04262024) was obtained from Railway Hospital No.2 (Kyiv, Ukraine).
