Five researchers at KBH receive funding from the Swedish Research Council

Five researchers at the Department of Women's and Children's Health have been awarded grants for their projects from the Swedish Research Council.
The following projects were awarded funding:
- Erika Comasco, Assistant Professor and Researcher at the Department of Women's and Children's Health
Project grant - Women's mental health: one size does not fit all
Grant awarded: SEK 3 million over 3 years
- Susanne Lager, Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor at the Department of Women's and Children's Health
Project grant - Study of human herpesvirus 6 as a cause of the pregnancy complication pre-eclampsia.
Grant awarded: SEK 3 million over 3 years
- Sara Riggare, researcher at the Department of Women's and Children's Health
Establishment grant – Chronic knowledge – from self-care to meta-self-care in chronic disease
Grant awarded: SEK 6 million over 4 years
- Louise von Essen, Professor at the Department of Women's and Children's Health
Project grant - ACT-ALL: Reducing caregiver discontinuation of treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in Tanzania: Development and evaluation of an SMS intervention
Grant awarded: SEK 5.4 million over 4 years
- Birgitta Essén, professor at the Department of Women's and Children's Health, received a grant in collaboration with Malmö University for the project: Medical evidence in court: Legal certainty and the use of medical reports in cases of suspected female genital mutilation.
