Friday, 18 October, the annual Olof Rudbeck Day took place, with several well-known researchers, professors and experts as speakers. This year’s theme, ‘AI for health and care – opportunities and risks’, attracted almost 250 listeners to Grönwallsalen at Uppsala University Hospital. In addition, over 200 people followed the event via livestream.
“I was very pleased to see a packed Grönwallsalen and more than 200 digital participants. The programme was highly relevant and perfectly timed with its AI theme and excellent speakers,” summarises Mats Larhed, Vice-Rector of the Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy.
Stellan Sandler, Chair of Upsala Läkareförening, agrees:
“The 2024 Olof Rudbeck Day was a great success and very timely. It is rewarding to offer knowledge on such an exciting topic as AI. Both professionals and audience members were engaged.”
