Many applications to programmes this fall

The application deadline for admission to this autumn’s courses has now passed. Among the programmes offered by the Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy (Medfarm), the Medicine Programme stands out.
The application period for the upcoming autumn term is now closed, and Uppsala University has received a total of 92,342 unique applications – an increase of just under 3,000 compared to the same period in 2024.
Among the programmes with the highest number of applicants, several are offered within Medfarm. The Medicine Programme is top of the list, with a total of 5,324 applications, making it the third most sought-after programme at Uppsala University overall.
Close behind is the Nursing Programme, with 3,695 applications. The Master of Science Programme in Pharmacy and the Physiotherapy Programme also rank among the top 20 of the university’s 258 available programmes across all levels.
