Over SEK 100 million in grants to Medfarm

The Swedish Research Council has announced its grant decisions in the field of medicine and health. Twenty-three researchers at the Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy at Uppsala University have been awarded either project grants or starting grants in this round.

In total, the awarded funding amounts to SEK 105,450,000, making it the fourth-largest allocation from the Swedish Research Council within medicine and health.

The largest grant this time was awarded to Professor Mia Phillipson at the Department of Medical Cell Biology, for her project “Immunotherapies to improve tissue function in cardiovascular disease”.
